We are looking for a couple of part-time, contracted positions at Curio Rugs!

 

1. Social Media Content Creator 

Candidate would be a free-lance content creator who works with multiple businesses as this would start at very part-time, with room to grow. Ideally candidate has a love for interior design, a love for minimalistic and timeless graphic design, high standards for tasteful design, fresh ideas and the ability to create Stories, reels, short videos etc. Applicant must be within the Twin Cities, as sometimes campaigns will be done on your own time. Ideal candidate possess these qualities:

Passionate, hard work ethic, empathic, trustworthy, creative, self-starter, attention to detail, style and trend loving. 

This position to start will be 2-4 hours per week with room to grow. Pay is depending on experience. Footage will have to be in house, in our space in Deephaven, however creating reels, social planning etc can be done remotely. 

 

2. Product Photographer

Candidate would be a free-lance contract photographer 1-2 days per week. Must have experience in photography, your own camera, and knowledge of Lightroom and uploading/file handling etc. Ideal candidate would have experience in product or interior photography, and a keen eye for detail and angles. If photographing rugs and interiors is something you think you can learn and do well, then please do not hesitate to apply. Days and hours would be flexible, but once hired, we would like the day to be the same day each week with flexibility when life happens :) Photographer would simply have a quota of how many rugs need to be photographed per week and paid per rug. Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs and able to get down on knees to roll rugs up often. This job requires some physical labor (you won't need a gym membership anymore! :) Ideal candidate possess these qualities:

This position would be 3-5 hours per week to start with room to grow. Photographer will be paid per rug photographed. All photography will happen at our studio in Deephaven.
